Gotorex Promotions & Coupon Terms

These Promotions & Coupon Terms apply to promotions, discounts, coupons, promotional codes, vouchers and special offers available through www.gotorex.com, a multi-seller marketplace operated from South Africa and serving customers internationally.

1. Promotional Offers
Gotorex and participating sellers may offer:
- Coupons;
- Discount codes;
- Percentage discounts;
- Fixed-amount discounts;
- Free or reduced shipping;
- Limited-time offers;
- New-customer promotions;
- Seller promotions; and
- Other promotional incentives.
Each promotion may have its own specific conditions.
2. Eligibility
Promotions may be limited by:
- Customer location;
- Product;
- Seller;
- Category;
- Account;
- Minimum purchase value;
- Payment method;
- Quantity;
- Promotional period; or
- Other stated conditions.
Only customers meeting the applicable requirements may use a promotion.
3. Coupon & Promotional Codes
Coupons and promotional codes:
- Must be used according to their stated terms;
- May have an expiry date;
- May be limited to one use per customer or account;
- May be limited to specific products or sellers; and
- May not be exchanged for cash unless required by applicable law.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, coupons cannot be transferred, resold or combined with other offers.
4. Discount Calculation
The discount will be calculated according to the specific promotion.
Unless expressly stated, a discount may not apply to:
- Shipping charges;
- Taxes;
- Customs duties;
- Other fees; or
- Products excluded from the promotion.
The applicable discount and final amount payable will be displayed where reasonably practicable before the order is completed.
5. Promotional Pricing
Gotorex and sellers will aim to ensure promotional pricing is accurate and not misleading.
Where applicable law requires a previous price, reference price, lowest previous price or other pricing information to be displayed, the applicable legal requirements will be followed.
A promotion must not be used to create a false impression of savings.
6. Promotion Period
Each promotion may have a stated start and end date.
A promotion may end when:
- The stated expiry time is reached;
- Promotional stock is exhausted, where legally permitted and clearly disclosed;
- The stated promotional quantity is reached; or
- The promotion's conditions are otherwise satisfied.
A promotion will not be withdrawn in a manner that unlawfully affects rights already acquired by a customer.
7. Limited Availability
Where an offer is genuinely limited by stock, quantity or time, the applicable limitation may be stated in the promotion.
Gotorex and sellers must not falsely represent that a product or discount is limited when it is not.
8. Combining Promotions
Unless expressly stated, promotional codes cannot be combined.
If multiple discounts are available, the checkout may apply the promotion that provides the applicable benefit according to the stated promotional terms.
9. Free Shipping Promotions
"Free shipping" promotions may apply only to:
- Eligible products;
- Eligible destinations;
- Eligible shipping methods; or
- Orders meeting stated conditions.
Unless expressly stated, free shipping does not necessarily include customs duties, import taxes or other destination charges.
10. New-Customer Promotions
New-customer offers may be restricted to eligible first-time customers or accounts.
Gotorex may reasonably restrict misuse involving:
- Multiple accounts;
- False information;
- Automated account creation;
- Repeated use of a new-customer promotion; or
- Other promotional abuse.
11. Promotional Abuse & Fraud
Customers and sellers must not manipulate promotions through:
- Multiple fraudulent accounts;
- Fake transactions;
- Automated systems;
- False information;
- Coupon resale;
- Exploiting technical errors;
- Collusion; or
- Other dishonest methods.
Gotorex may investigate suspected abuse and, where legally permitted, restrict or cancel affected promotional benefits or transactions.
12. Errors & Technical Problems
If a promotion is affected by an obvious technical or pricing error, Gotorex may take reasonable corrective action, including correcting the promotion or cancelling an affected transaction where legally permitted.
Nothing in this section removes mandatory consumer rights.
13. Seller Promotions
Individual sellers may offer their own promotions.
Seller promotions may have conditions different from Gotorex-wide promotions.
The applicable seller, product and promotion terms will apply to the relevant transaction.
14. International Promotions
Promotions may differ between countries because of:
- Local laws;
- Taxes;
- Product restrictions;
- Shipping restrictions;
- Currency;
- Seller availability;
- Advertising requirements; or
- Other regulatory requirements.
A promotion available in one country may not be available in another.
15. Taxes & Customs
Discounts generally reduce the applicable product price according to the promotion's terms.
Taxes, VAT, GST, customs duties and import charges may be calculated according to applicable law.

16. Shipping & Delivery
Delivery times vary according to the seller, supplier, warehouse, carrier, shipping method and destination.
Some products may be delivered as quickly as 1–3 business days in countries such as the United States, while other products may take substantially longer.
Promotional offers do not automatically guarantee a particular delivery time unless expressly stated.
17. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations
Returns, refunds and cancellations are governed by the Gotorex Refund, Return & Cancellation Policy and applicable mandatory consumer laws.
Customers requesting a return or refund should contact:
For damaged products, customers should provide reasonable proof, such as photographs, video and order information.
Gotorex may inspect the product and investigate with the seller, supplier or carrier before determining eligibility where permitted by law.
The time required for inspection and resolution depends on the circumstances and complexity of the matter, subject to mandatory legal time limits.
Where a refund is legally or otherwise approved, the treatment of the promotional discount will depend on the applicable promotion and law.
18. Expired & Unused Coupons
Expired coupons generally cannot be used.
Unused promotional balances are not refundable or exchangeable for cash unless required by applicable law.
Where a coupon is subject to an expiry period, the expiry will be stated in the applicable promotion where required.
19. Changes or Cancellation of Promotions
Gotorex may modify or discontinue future promotions where reasonably necessary, including because of:
- Legal requirements;
- Fraud;
- Technical problems;
- Business circumstances;
- Seller withdrawal; or
- Other legitimate reasons.
Changes will not unlawfully affect a customer's rights in relation to a promotion already validly applied to a completed transaction.
20. No Unlawful Exclusion of Rights
Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory rights relating to:
- Consumer protection;
- Refunds;
- Returns;
- Cancellations;
- Unfair commercial practices;
- Pricing transparency; or
- Other rights that cannot legally be excluded.
21. Policy Updates
Gotorex may update these Terms when its promotional systems, marketplace practices or legal requirements change.
